Delivering Results,
Together

For more than five years, Senator Alana DiMario has delivered results for District 36 by working alongside neighbors, advocates, and local leaders to turn community priorities into real legislation. Her focus remains clear: practical solutions that improve quality of life and strengthen Rhode Island’s future. This work is centered on three key priorities:

  • Making Rhode Island more affordable: Raising wages, lowering everyday costs, and expanding access to affordable housing and health care.

  • Supporting families: Strengthening childcare, improving education, and expanding access to primary care.

  • Growing our local economy: Cutting red tape and making it easier for small businesses to succeed.

About

Alana

At a time when people are looking for leaders who are willing to stand up for what’s right, Alana DiMario brings both conviction and accountability to her work. First elected in 2020, she believes the future of Rhode Island depends on engaging people who too often feel shut out of the political process. Alana works to make government more transparent, accessible, and responsive — so it delivers real results for the people it serves.

She lives in Narragansett with her husband and three children and is proud to represent Narragansett, North Kingstown, and New Shoreham in the Rhode Island Senate.

"Senator DiMario is the rare leader who understands the importance of standing up for what she believes is right, while also approaching issues with an open mind. Over the last five years Alana has consistently shown sound judgement on the issues that matter to those who call Narragansett home. From health and human services, environmental issues, the economy, and housing Senator DiMario has displayed leadership, as well a willingness to challenge the status quo when it doesn’t serve the community.
